A detailing brush can help elevate the look and feel of the car you’re working on. Find a Detailing Brush That Won’t Damage Cars

Although brushes are mainly used to put the final touches on a job, students in auto detailing training should look for ones that will not be susceptible to corrosion if they mix with chemicals. 

Whether the brush is made with synthetic fibres, boar hair, or any other material, be sure that they are durable. With solvent-resistant bristles, the brush can be washed with ease and not break down in ways other brushes might. 

You’ll also want a brush equipped with a handle that can withstand contact with cleaning chemicals. For example, certain types of durable plastic are resistant to solvents or other elements, so mixing with chemicals isn’t an issue.

You’ll Need Brushes for Both Inside and Outside Parts During Your Auto Detailing Career

With any detailing brush you use during your auto detailing career, versatility is the name of the game. This means that the brushes will need to be just as adept in cleaning a car’s air vents or leather seats as they are in helping make wheels look like new again. Having brushes that can clean parts of the vehicle’s interior and exterior is important, and will help give the car an all-around cleaner look.

For this, you could purchase a set of brushes that vary in size and diameter (to access crevices from different distances), as well as brushes that can be used to clean both dry and wet surfaces. Whatever you decide, be sure your brushes are able to make the car look as good as new, both inside and out!
