Auto Mechanic Careers are in Demand

If you’re in search of a rewarding career that is in demand, then the auto industry could be a good fit for you. It’s no secret that Canada needs more skilled workers—especially in the trades. According to a recent report titled Labour and Skills Shortages in Canada: Addressing Current and Future Challenges, automotive service technicians are in high demand.

“The 2009 labour market study noted that employers were reporting approximately 13,000 unfilled positions and that 37% of these were for automotive service technicians. Overall, 29% of employers in the industry have one or more unfilled positions, and this is impacting business growth.”

It’s no wonder that ATC graduates enjoy a 92% placement rate after completing their studies!

Whether you want to scope out the classic cars we’ll have on display, or find out more about our many programs, our upcoming open house might be the perfect way for you to explore your passion for the automotive industry.
