Christine Galligan Auto Body Collision Estimator

Hello,

My Name Is Christine Galligan and I have recently graduated from the Collision Estimating Course here at ATC .

When I started in this 13-week course, I didn’t know anyone, and I was surrounded by much older people. I came into the course with no knowledge of estimating or what it really was. I was scared to take the course thinking I wouldn’t like it or I would fail because it might be too tough.

During my time at ATC, I made friends who I will always cherish and met a teacher who taught me so much. I thought collision estimating was just writing damage and sending the report but there was much more to it than that, including the different types of damages and how to deal with customers and their cars. Overall I got through it with the help of my teacher and my fellow students. The students and I were all like one big Ohana.  “Ohana” means FAMILY, FAMILY means no one gets left BEHIND or FORGOTTEN. We all had each other’s back and helped everyone get through it and that is what I needed.

I now can take the knowledge and skills I have learned and put it towards my new job at Craftsman Collision and take the skills to the next level.

I want to thank ATC for all their help, and to all of the current and future students coming into the school don’t be afraid that it might not work for you, because trust me, it will always work out. It may seem tough but you are tougher and stronger. Just put your mind to it and you will succeed. Here’s a quote I want to leave with you that helped me get through this course and it may help you in the future. “Don’t Let The Fear Of Striking Out Keep You From Playing The Game.”

Sincerely,
Christine Galligan, Graduate
