About Us

The Automotive Training Centre (ATC) was created in 1984 and since that time has helped thousands of graduates realize their dream of a career in the automotive field.

ATC’s main purpose is:

“To provide our students with relevant, practical, job related training for their career in the automotive and transportation fields.”

We offer full and part-time programs on campus, plus home-study programs through our e-learning division. Over the years, new industry-validated automotive programs have been added in response to the growing demand for well-qualified auto professionals.

The Automotive Training Centre has serviced the automotive industry’s training needs since 1984. To keep up with the ever-evolving automotive industry’s training requirements, ATC constantly develops and updates its programs and curriculum. Our courses and programs are up to date and industry recognized. And our first-rate training centres include classrooms, advanced automotive mechanics shops, and auto body repair facilities designed to give you the hands-on training to succeed as an automotive professional.

Here are many of the reasons why you should consider starting your automotive career at the Automotive Training Centre.

1

Automotive Training Centre Methodology

At ATC, all instructors have extensive experience in their field. Theory is always supported by concrete examples and participation of all students is highly encouraged. Extensive shop training will provide you with hands-on experience under the guidance of your instructor.

2

Automotive Training Centre Class sizes

To ensure quality education, the number of students per program is limited. We find students get the best support and instruction with smaller class size.

3

A number of options are available to participants, ranging from full-time day courses to part-time evening courses. Please check each program for details.

4

Shirley Wright Auto Body Collision Estimator

You can start at Automotive Training Centres – Toronto Campus!

My Name is Shirley Wright and I did the Automotive Service Operations Specialist Program, which consists of Service Advising, Parts and Collision & Estimating. These modules gave me insight into how the overall industry works.

Service Advising highlights the importance of communication. Collision & Estimating deals with repairs and details for good analysis. Learning Auto Parts deals with components that make up the different systems of a car.

My co-op experience was wonderful, Thanks to Dipa, my Admission Advisor who helped guide me through the process and helped me to reach my career goals.

Thank you to my teacher Marc who has many years of experience and insight in preparing his students for this wonderful industry.
