  • Description

ATC now offers the Automotive Service Technician Foundation Program in two formats: the popular in-class format and the NEW combined delivery format. In combined delivery, students can complete the theory portion of the program online, and the practical portion at our training centre.

The Automotive Service Technician program at the Surrey Automotive Training Centre trains students for long-lasting auto mechanic careers. The program provides a mix of organized learning experiences and actual auto repair shop training, equipping students with the necessary knowledge and experience to diagnose and repair real automotive problems.

The Automotive Service Technician program prepares students to engage in the servicing and maintenance of all types and makes of cars. ATC instructors have relevant field experience and provide a practical and knowledgeable source of education to our students.

ATC Surrey’s Automotive Service Technician program covers:

  • Introduction to the Automotive Industry and Shop Safety

Angelo De Ciccio Automotive Service Technician

I chose to come to ATC because I was referred by a student that was already going there and he enjoyed the program very much. The length of the program is good as it is fast paced and there is no time wasted. With this training, I learned the “shortcuts” that are used in the industry, while still doing the right procedures. And all instructors provide you with equal amounts of knowledge and instruction. The length of the stage is good too, and on top of that, the stage counts on your hours and you get paid to do it! The flexible hours and the fact that the program is offered in French and in English is a plus. What’s also cool is that the school still help’s you after you’re done your training.

Where I work, they saw what I could do. And that’s because of what I learned at ATC. Right then, they knew they could trust me.
