I searched for a school that could take me but the waiting list was too long. When I contacted ATC they tried very hard to get me into a class right away. It worked and I started immediately. The thing that impressed me was the shop was well equipped and neat. My instructor worked very hard at making sure we were all on the same page.

I first found the school last spring as I was searching on the internet trying to decide on a place to go to get into the automotive industry. ATC looked like a nice professional place, so I called and got more information on it. When I started I expected to learn, but wasn't sure how much I would actually get out of the program. Right from the start I was surprised at how well the program was layed out. The instruction in the classroom was detailed and complemented by work in the shop. We would learn the theory of a system in class, then the next day in the shop we would apply the theory and learn the practical in real life situations. The instructors go out of their way to help the students understand the material and are always there to answer any questions. Students are taught the right way to do a job first, rather than than just getting it done quickly by cutting corners. I started the course without any knowledge of automobiles, and now have the foundation to work as a productive member in an automotive shop. The school gave me the confidence needed to succeed in the industry. Without them, I wouldn't be where I am today. I recommend ATC to anyone starting in the automotive industry wanting a solid base to build their career on.
