Ardent admirers of both brands will throw out all kinds of reasons why their favourite is best, ranging from brand history to road testing results, and in truth, both sides have a point—their brand of choice is pretty great!

Ultimately, because it’s so tough to say whether BMW or Mercedes is better, it’s probably best to make the evaluation on a case by case basis. Of course, if you have your own opinion about which one is best, nobody will fault you for sharing your perspective—you’ll have plenty of justification on either side of the debate!
