Automotive Detailing (Professional) Training

Have you ever wondered how the vehicles on car lots all look so good? There is no better feeling than taking a tattered, smelly, unattractive vehicle and transforming it into a thing of beauty.

Learn to professionally detail cars and trucks for automotive showrooms( dealer preparation) and to add value to pre-owned vehicles.

The detailing business is a great job if you like dealing with happy, appreciative people. Also if you have an entrepreneurial sprit or just don't like working for someone, automotive detailing can be a great business.

ATC's Automotive Detailing program offers a hands-on approach to learning and with the majority of class time spent in the shop, you are prepared to enter this career with confidence.

Course segments include:

- An Introduction To Professional Automotive Detailing (P.A.D.)
- Exterior Preparation And Interior Reconditioning
- Used Vehicle Exterior Reconditioning
- Vehicle Paint Surface Repair And Reconditioning
- Workplace Introduction And Major Shop Projects

After graduating, you will have conducted a workplace introduction, major shop projects and final exams that cover these topics:

  • P.A.D. - Vehicle preparation for delivery and PDI showroom preparation.
  • Used vehicle preparation and interior/exterior reconditioning
  • Understanding vehicle paint repair & reconditioning and be shown how to apply vehicle protection applications (rust proofing, undercoating. etc.)

You'll be in greater demand if you have the knowledge to detail virtually any kind of vehicle. At ATC we train you to detail various surfaces and materials.

'Learning by doing' is the ATC way. Your new skills become second nature and you will take them into the workplace with confidence.

When you learn with ATC, 85% of your time is spent in the shop gaining real, practical experience.

The course (4 weekends) covers the essentials of preparing a car for the showroom floor and offers hands-on skills in exterior and interior maintenance for used automobiles. Industry recognized certificate upon completion.
