Three “Must-See” Cars at the Vancouver Auto Show

Auto shows are often a great way to stay on top of both changes in the automotive industry and developments in technology and manufacturing. Of course, with so many great cars on display, it can be easy to miss some of the most intriguing vehicles on show. Thankfully, The Province recently highlighted a few cars to check out at this year’s Vancouver Auto Show (at BC Place April 3-8, 2012.)

Here are three must-see cars at this year’s show:

2013 BMW 6 SERIES GRAN COUPE

Making its debut in VanCity, the Gran Coupe, which is longer and wider than anything in the 5 series, is the first four-door model in the 6 series. It features:

  • A sloped roofline that gives it a sporty look and feel
  • An extended wheelbase (4.5 inches)
  • A longer body (4.4 inches)

The new Dart features two engines that generate 160 hp: the “Tigershark”, a 2.0-litre naturally aspirated four-cylinder and a 1.4-litre turbocharged and inter-cooled four.
